2BR clients acquitted after 10-week kidnap and blackmail trial

Clients represented by Nick Barraclough leading Rhys Rosser (instructed by Keppe Rofer Solicitors), and Callum Munday (led by Khadim Al’Hassan, instructed by EBR Attridge) were unanimously acquitted of all charges in a case involving the kidnap and blackmail of two men by an Irish organised crime gang. Both men were threatened with firearms and knives, drugged and washed in bleach before one of them was released to secure ransom money. Police hostage negotiators were involved in paying part of the ransom and tracing the second man who, after 9 days, was rescued by armed police.
