Former Metropolitan Police Officer receives suspended prison sentence for committing 5 offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990

Ashraf Khan secured a suspended prison sentence for a former Metropolitan Police Officer who intentionally accessed police records of people known to him without any legitimate purpose between 2018 and 2021. The former officer viewed investigation records relating to ongoing criminal cases, including a multi-million pound money laundering trial.
