Tomas McGarvey’s client acquitted of Blackmail

Tomas McGarvey, instructed by Aysha Moore of Paul Robinson Solicitors, represented a defendant charged with blackmail. Tomas’s client was originally charged with two counts of blackmail, however, following a successful application to dismiss one of the counts, stood trial in relation to one count only. Following a 5-day trial at Basildon Crown Court Tomas’s client was unanimously acquitted.
