The Times ‘Lawyer of the week’, Jacqueline Carey KC prosecuted reality TV star, Stephen Bear, who was sentenced to 21 months’ imprisonment following his conviction after trial for offences of voyeurism and disclosing private sexual footage. The victim, Georgia Harrison, bravely waived her anonymity and has spoken out about the ensuing harm offences of this nature. The trial and sentence garnered much publicity, not least for the way the defendant portrayed himself when entering Court.
