Legal 500 2023

The 2023 edition of the Legal 500 guide has been published and Chambers is delighted to have received a total of 69 recommendations.

37 individual members of Chambers (14 KCs and 23 juniors) were recommended as leaders in their fields across 8 of Chambers’ practice areas (Business & Regulatory Crime, General Crime, Criminal Fraud, Health & Safety, Professional Discipline & Regulatory, Inquests & Inquiries, Sport, and Police Law).  

The guide praised  2 Bedford Row for its “Fantastic strength in depth, right down to the junior level” and commented that “From top to bottom, 2 Bedford Row stands out as one of the very best.“

There was also strong praise for Chambers’ “Attentive, efficient, and commercial” clerking team “run with great finesse by the legendary John Grimmer.”  John Grimmer was described as “ a pleasure to work with and always goes the extra mile to provide a top quality service “, Paul Rogers was praised a “very helpful and approachable” dealing with enquiries “efficiently and effectively” and Lee Bartlett was commended for his “excellent customer service as his responsiveness and attention to detail are notable. He is also able to prioritise urgent matters and deal with them appropriately.”  The clerking team was also praised for being “professional, polite and helpful” and “always happy to help”.
