Tracy Ayling QC represented “ACF” in the Court of Criminal Appeal (Criminal Division) on an appeal against a 28 year sentence imposed upon “ACF” after a trial at Reading Crown Court for child sexual offences (Regina v ACF and two others)
It was successfully argued that “ACF” should not have been sentenced to the same term as his co-defendant, and that the sentencing judge was wrong to impose consecutive sentences where a relevant feature was that the defendant had himself been abused as a child.
