Christopher Martin secures Court Martial acquittal

Christopher Martin, instructed by Philip Roberts of Levy & Co, successfully defended an Army Major at a recent Court Martial trial at the Court Martial Center sitting at Catterick. The defendant was charged with assault and it was alleged that he attempted to strangle the wife of a fellow officer at a party within the Officer’s Mess. The Court Martial Board retired for a little over 30 minutes before returning a ‘not guilty’ verdict.
