Christopher Martin secures acquittal in death by careless driving case

Christopher Martin, instructed by Chrissy O’Connor and John Dance of DWF Solicitors, successfully defended a man charged with causing the death of a pedestrian by careless driving. A refuse lorry, driven by the defendant, was reversing down a residential street when it collided with the pedestrian. The defendant was unanimously acquitted by a jury at St Albans Crown Court following a 6 day trial.
