Acquittal in computer hacking trial

Sam Thomas leading Harry Laidlaw, instructed by Richard Hallam at Powell Spencer Partners, secured the acquittal at Southwark Crown Court of a youth defendant, X, who was accused of hacking into BT/EE, and ransoming information. A co-defendant was convicted of a series of hacking offences relating to companies including BT/EE, Revolut, Uber and Rockstar Games.
