Anand Beharrylal QC will be joining a panel of speakers chaired by Crispin Blunt MP and Chair of APPG on Global LGBT+ Rights. The discussion is being held ahead of the appeal before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in Chandler v The State. The Savings Law Clause has been interpreted as immunising pre-independence laws from human rights challenges under the Constitution.
