Jim and Chris acted for a racing driver who had admitted to bringing the sport into disrepute. The charge arose out of an abusive gesture to a pit lane marshal, which led to the driver’s licence being suspended. After Jim and Chris advanced mitigation on the driver’s behalf, a suspended penalty was imposed. As a result, the driver’s licence was reinstated immediately.
