Sam Thomas successfully defends client accused of rape

Sam Thomas represented Mr P who was unanimously acquitted of rape by a jury at Chelmsford Crown Court. Sam was instructed by Michael Rees of Levy & Co.

Mr P was alleged to have sexually assaulted the sleeping complainant before holding her down and raping her when she awoke. Sam was able to demonstrate that the alleged account was inconsistent with independent witnesses and forensic medical evidence.
