Richard Whittam QC appears in the BBC’s three part documentary: The Ruth Ellis Files: A Very British Crime Story
Richard was interviewed at 2 Bedford Row and filmed at the Old Bailey, where Ruth Ellis was tried for the murder of David Blakely. The first episode looks at the police investigation, the second, in which Richard appears, the trial and the third the last minute attempts to save her life and her execution.
