Michael Wolkind QC acted for Levi Walker convicted of a gangland execution, where the victim was taken to a country lane and shot dead in a drugs feud. The killing was in 2002 and the trial, where Michael did not appear, was in 2008. Michael became involved in 2009 and the culmination of 3 years work came with the Court of Appeal ruling that there had been a denial of crucial disclosure about the main prosecution witness. The defence also relied on significant police misconduct.
