Historic sexual offences acquittals

Tomas McGarvey, instructed by Mohammed Abid of City Law Chambers Solicitors, represented a 60 year old defendant charged with 16 counts of historic sexual allegations. The prosecution case included a number of rape allegations made by the defendant’s step-daughter over a 6 year period. Following a 7 day trial, his client was unanimously acquitted on each of the 16 counts on the indictment.
