HHJ Nigel Lithman QC

Chambers warmly congratulates Nigel Lithman QC on his recent appointment to the Circuit Bench. He will be taking up his appointment at Luton Crown Court.

Nigel has been a member of Chambers for 35 years during which time he has contributed enormously to the growth and success of 2 Bedford Row. Nigel was one of the busiest, most fearless, as well as entertaining, advocates of his generation, and he will be sorely missed by Chambers. He is also a former Chairman of the Essex Bar Mess and, more recently, he successfully led the Criminal Bar through some of its most difficult times as Chairman of the Criminal Bar Association.

All at 2 Bedford Row wish Nigel well in the future, and wish to thank him for his extraordinary service to Chambers and the Criminal Bar.
