David Patience prosecutes ‘Come Dine with Me’ winners convicted of drugs plot at Isleworth CC

David Patience prosecuted 5 defendants, all convicted of various offences relating to the importation and supply of large amounts of cannabis. The case involved the gang hatching a plot to ‘rip off’ the American side of the importation conspiracy by posing as UK Border Force officers and ‘seizing’ suitcases full of cannabis from drug mules, after they landed at Heathrow airport. The two defendants who executed the theft of the suitcases were also previous winners of ‘Come Dine with Me: The Professionals’. Further details of the case can be found here:
