Christopher Martin secures Court Martial acquittal

Christopher Martin, instructed by Lisa Towel of Blackfords LLP, successfully defended an infantry Corporal at a Court Martial lasting four days. The defendant was charged with Negligently Performing a Duty in respect of an allegation of assault on a young soldier. The Court Martial Board retired for only 20 minutes before returning a ‘not guilty’ verdict.
