Chambers & Partners 2018 Rankings

The 2018 edition of the Chambers & Partners guide has been released and 2 Bedford Row received a total of 60 recommendations.

As a set, Chambers was ranked as a leading set in 5 practice areas (Crime, Financial Crime, Health & Safety, Professional Discipline and Sport) and 32 members of Chambers (14 QCs and 18 juniors) were recommended as leading individuals over a total of 8 different practice areas.

Chambers was described as the “go to set for heavy-duty publicly and privately funded criminal cases”, and praised for “really good quality and depth, with barristers that are outstanding from the silks down to the juniors”. The guide also singled out Chambers’ “fantastic set of clerks” for special praise, with John Grimmer described as “the Alex Ferguson of the Bar: he has been around forever and overseen progression over the years, always maintaining real quality, which is not easy to do.”
