Adam Budworth began his career as a civil practitioner but has been a full time criminal barrister for over 16 years.
He has particular skills developed for use in serious corporate crime and is currently pursuing the development of US trial consultancy techniques within the UK jurisdiction and for use before HoC Select Committees.
He has represented companies in matters ranging from HSE (Recently prosecuted Mowlem PLC for HSE), to TV production companies for offences under the Town and Country Planning Act and another for potential criminal charges arising out of a “bizarre” reality crime show. The charges were never brought. He has also prosecuted and defended in various Trade Description Act, Copyright Act, Food Safety Act, Toy Safety offences.
Adam Budworth is an accredited Mediator in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and is registered with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also an accredited Advocacy Trainer.
