Archangelo Power secures acquittal of ex-soldier charged with historic rape

Following a change of both instructing solicitor and counsel in December 2023, Archangelo Power defence counsel, was instructed by the ex-soldier’s new solicitor Miss Zoë Hosking of Birkett Long Solicitors LLP.

Together they successfully represented the accused in a 4-day trial on one count of historic rape at a Court Martial at the Military Court Centre in Bulford.

Notwithstanding the fact that the complaint was bolstered with the introduction of recent complaint and medical evidence, the Board returned a unanimous not guilty verdict.
