Aggravated burglary acquittal

Barry Gilbert, instructed by Sam Nundy of Levy & Co solicitors, defended F during an 8-day trial at Basildon Crown Court.

The defendant and two others were indicted with aggravated burglary. They had allegedly forced their way into a house disguised as workmen. The house was occupied by a lone female who was threatened with a gun. The men were looking for a safe and departed having stolen valuable items. He was acquitted on all counts.
