John Caudle has built up a practice involving all areas of criminal work and has considerable experience both of defending and prosecuting heavyweight cases.

John is regularly instructed as a Leading Junior both for the Defence and the Prosecution. As well as representing defendants accused of serious offences all over the country, he is regularly instructed by the prosecution in substantial and lengthy cases and is a member of the Attorney General’s ‘A’ List Panel of prosecuting Advocates. A large proportion of the cases he prosecutes involve complex and sensitive Ex Parte Public Interest Immunity Hearings.

John has recently been involved in a 4 month trial in Sheffield which reputedly concerned the largest drugs operation ever mounted in that area. Many of the drugs cases he has been instructed in have involved contested Confiscation Hearings at the conclusion of the trial.
