Speakers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
At the invitation of the United Arab Emirates Government, Peter Lodder QC and Richard Matthews QC spoke on the role of Governmental agencies, in both criminal and civil proceedings, and on the implementation of codes of conduct and ethical standards for local and international practitioners. The seminars and meetings were held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi on 7 - 8th December. They included a visit to the Emirati Minister of Justice and a discussion with Judges of the courts of the DIFC (Dubai International Finance Centre).
