Andrew Munday QC and Emma King were instructed by the Revenue & Customs Prosecutions Office to prosecute confiscation proceedings arising out of convictions of 12 defendants for VAT carousel fraud. The court made a confiscation order of in excess of £26 million against the first defendant. This is one of the largest confiscation orders obtained by Revenue & Customs.
