Michael Levy, leading Christine Agnew, secured the acquittal of Steven Drew, the principal defendant and owner of an "Escort/Massage" business, in a case alleging Conspiracy to Control Prostitution and Conspiracy to Launder the Proceeds of Crime. The trial had lasted many weeks. The main issue in the case related to the definition and meaning of "control" in the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
